Transformation System

Learn how the Transformation System works in Koete and how you can enhance your character's abilities.

System Overview

The Transformation System allows players to level up their transformation skill buffs according to their chosen class. Each character has a unique transformation ability:

  • Uchiha Clan: Gains access to the Sharingan.
  • Naruto: Harnesses the chakra of the Kyuubi.
  • Other Characters: Have distinct transformation abilities depending on their lore.

How It Works

The Transformation System is an experience-based system that improves over time. Here’s how it functions:

  • Activating Buff: Players must activate their transformation skill.
  • Defeating Monsters: While the buff is active, killing monsters will generate an EXP orb.
  • EXP Absorption: The floating EXP orb will automatically fly towards the player, granting transformation experience.
  • Leveling Up: Each level gained enhances stats and boosts transformation effects.

Transformation Mechanics

Each level of transformation increases various attributes based on the character type. The buffs gained from leveling transformations are permanent, except in cases where a character's transformation is manually reset.

Key aspects of the system include:

  • Defeating monsters while transformed grants transformation experience.
  • Higher transformation levels provide stronger buffs.
  • Each character class has unique benefits from their transformation.

Transformation Effects

As players level up their transformation abilities, they gain unique effects that enhance their combat performance:

  • Executioner: Applies a bleeding effect to enemies upon basic attacks. The bleeding damage is based on a percentage of the player’s attack power (e.g., 16% of 900 attack results in 144 damage per tick). The effect does not stack; a target can only be affected again after the previous bleeding effect expires.
  • Frenzy: Increases movement speed and attack speed, scaling with the player's agility skill.
  • Hemophagia: Grants a percentage-based life leech effect. Every attack (including jutsus and skills) restores a portion of the damage dealt as health (e.g., 16% Hemophagia on 900 damage restores 144 HP).
  • Drainage: Grants a percentage-based chakra leech effect. Similar to Hemophagia, but restores chakra instead of health.
  • Torpor: Reduces enemy movement speed upon basic attacks. This effect does not stack.
  • Aether: Directly increases the player's Ninjutsu skill.
  • Fury: Enhances the player’s critical hit chance, applicable to all forms of damage (melee, skills, and jutsus).
  • Intangible: Grants a percentage-based chance to evade incoming damage.
  • Confusion: Has a probability of paralyzing and muting the enemy for 3 seconds upon attack.
  • Repercussion: Reflects a percentage of the damage received back to the attacker.
  • Agony: Has a probability of completely removing the target’s armor and defense upon attack.
